Why This Course

The English School Online (TESO) was born from the work we began at DPSI Online, one of the UK’s most trusted interpreter training providers.

After developing our successful Spoken English for Interpreters course through DPSI Online, we saw a growing need: professionals and international students across many fields were struggling with the same challenges – speaking English with confidence, fluency, and clarity.

That’s why we created TESO. To support a wider community of learners with high-quality English communication training grounded in real-world needs.

This course reflects the same care, standards, and integrity that 2000+ students have come to trust through our work with DPSI Online.

As accuracy of communication is extra important, the right pronunciation of words is one of the keys. Having the DPSI diploma under my belt, I am asked to interpret in many psychological therapy sessions. During the Spoken English we also went through the vocabulary of mental illnesses. I am proud to pronounce perfectly the names of mental illnesses and disorders. The word 'Anxiety' especially got stuck in my mind.
Thank you Franie for helping to make me credible in my interpreting.

Barbara ZPolish Medical Interpreter | DPSI Health

The Spoken English for Interpreters course has made a significant contribution to my CPD as a community interpreter. I have expanded my vocabulary, improved my grammar and learnt new idiomatic expressions from a native English speaker. Franie's teaching skills have been amazing, and each conversation with her has emphasised new terms. She answered our questions, and we discussed different topics and situations as interpreters. At the end of the course, I was able to use tenses better and prepositions and acquired valuable knowledge. I highly recommend this course to anyone working as an interpreter or wishing to enter this field as for interpreters is important to be confident and a strong vocabulary will bring confidence.

Eveleen NArabic Interpreter

The course was quite useful regardless of the student's current English level. I'm bilingual yet I thought many times I was learning interesting and new things.
Franie is very good at understanding students' different levels and addressing them accordingly.
